Dr. Luther Johnson III (Trey) is a native Houstonian who graduated as a child prodigy at 16 years old from Westbury Senior High School. Dr. Trey continued his academic path of excellence at Xavier University in New Orleans, majoring in Biology with a minor in Healthcare Administration. A renewed quest for education came after the birth of his son, in 2001, and therefore a double major in Human Biology and Public Health Administration followed shortly thereafter.
In 2005, Dr. Trey was accepted to Texas Chiropractic College and began an accelerated graduate program completing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2008. Dr. Trey has numerous accolades including, but not limited to numerous board certifications, managing radiological units of one of his family's practices, contracted with one of the largest Worker's Compensation companies in America and current co-owner, with his sister, Dr. Pleshette B. Johnson-Wiggins, at Advanced Functional Rehab since 2015. Along with participating in community mentorship programs, he volunteers with young African American boys and young men to provide an accessible and positive role model!

Dr. Johnson is a graduate of THE Howard University where she earned a degree in Biology (BS). Dr. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Hardin Simmons University, in addition to an MBA from Texas A&M University - Commerce.
Dr. Johnson's credentials and experiences speak accolades of a woman who is career driven and community focused with regards to the individual and health related concerns on a broader scale. Besides being a staff doctor and co-owner, she is a former Adjunct Professor of Anatomy and Physiology to pre-med nursing, and physical therapy students at Houston Community College. She has had her training enhanced from institutions such as Park Plaza Hospital, Ben Taub General Hospital, Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital, and Moody Health Care Center.

From 1962 until 1963, Dr. Train did a Junior Training Rotating Internship at Scarborough General Hospital (Toronto, Canada). From 1963 until 2011, he was self -employed in General Practice in Canada and Houston. He switched professional gears to Physical Medicine (mainly Workers Compensation injuries) from 2011 to present.
Dr. Train was board certified in Family Medicine from 1978 until 2017, Designated Doctor for State Worker's Compensation from 2009 until 2015 and a preceptor for the Texas Medical Schools for several years starting in 2000. Extensive working experience with injuries - including state, federal, Longshore Harbor and Seaman's Worker's Compensation (Jones Act) is but yet a small portion of his vast expertise at Advanced Functional Rehab. He is one of the medical doctors on staff.
